Do you catch your profile in photos and look away? Wish your nose simply settled into your face instead of stealing focus? We understand, and we listen. Rhinoplasty gently refines the bridge, tip or balance while keeping you unmistakably you. The result is a softer, natural profile, and the quiet confidence of finally feeling at ease.
A glimpse of Hagen's rhinoplasty work, refined profiles and tips that still look unmistakably like the patient.
All photos are unedited clinical images of real patients of Hagen Schumacher, shown with consent and presented on a consistent neutral background. Outcomes are individual. Every nose, skin type and healing pattern is different, so your own result may vary.

A rhinoplasty reshapes the nose while respecting its natural structure. For the right candidate, it can:
Reduce a bump on the bridge for a smoother, straighter profile.
Reshape a bulbous, drooping or boxy tip with subtle, natural definition.
Better balance and symmetry across all of your features.
Functional concerns such as a deviated septum can be addressed at the same time.
Gently reduce flared or wide nostrils for better proportion.
Correct deviation or asymmetry for a centred, even line.
Adjust a nose that feels too large or too small so it suits your face.
A natural result that lets you simply stop thinking about your nose.
Watch: Hagen explains open vs closed rhinoplasty, and why he favours a closed approach that leaves no visible scar.

The final cost depends on the complexity of your surgery and whether it is for cosmetic reshaping, breathing correction, or both. You will receive a clear, personalised quote after your consultation and surgical assessment, with no surprises.
Every journey begins with a consultation, an unhurried, honest conversation where Hagen listens to your goals, examines you carefully and gives you a realistic sense of what surgery can and cannot achieve, along with a clear plan and a fixed quote.
A thorough one-to-one assessment with Hagen, in person or virtually, covering your goals, a detailed examination, your options and an honest recommendation, followed by a clear, fixed quote. A formal consultation is a required step before any surgery.

Performed by a qualified, experienced consultant surgeon, rhinoplasty is considered safe. As with all surgery there are risks such as infection, bleeding or a reaction to anaesthesia, but serious complications are rare. Hagen discusses every risk openly during your consultation so you can make a fully informed decision.
Your external splint is removed at about one week and most visible bruising settles within two to three weeks. You can usually return to gentle daily life after about two weeks. Deeper swelling continues to refine quietly over many months, with the final result settling over the following year or more.
Light activity and gentle walking are encouraged early on. Strenuous exercise, heavy lifting and contact sport should be avoided for around six weeks to protect the healing structures of your nose. Your team will give you clear, personalised milestones at each review.
A blocked feeling is normal in the early weeks as the lining settles and any internal splints are in place. Avoid forceful blowing. Saline sprays and the specific guidance provided by your nurse will keep the airway comfortable while it heals. Breathing typically improves steadily as swelling reduces.
Sleep on your back with your head elevated on two or three pillows for the first few weeks. Keeping the head raised reduces swelling and helps protect the nose. Avoid sleeping on your side or front until your team confirms it is safe to do so.
Glasses should not rest on the bridge of the nose while the bones are healing, usually for around four to six weeks. Your team can advise on taping or cheek-supported alternatives in the meantime, and will let you know exactly when it is safe to return to your usual frames.
Keeping your head elevated, resting well, staying hydrated and following your aftercare plan all help. Gentle lymphatic care and avoiding strenuous activity can support faster settling. Most bruising fades within two to three weeks, and your team guides you through every stage.
Wherever possible, Hagen uses a closed technique with incisions hidden inside the nose, leaving no visible external scar. When an open approach is needed, the only external scar is a tiny line across the columella between the nostrils, which typically fades to become very discreet.
Rhinoplasty with Hagen starts from £9,000, including the surgeon and anaesthetist fees, hospital and theatre, your assessments, splint and dressings, and all post-operative reviews through to discharge. You will receive a clear, fixed quote after your consultation with no hidden extras.
